Please allow me to make a THIRD (and hopefully FINAL) request for this site to host LEGO Marvel Superheroes for Nintendo DS. Frankly, I'm growing weary of finding that even though the game has been out for more than THREE months now (it was released in late October 2013), there is still not a single site which seems to have this game (at least not without having to attempt to complete a potentially costly survey).

I didn't even have this kind of trouble with LEGO the Lord of the Rings. I currently have that rom on my DS flashcart, as well as about a dozen others (including two copies of Super Mario 64 DS:p ). Please do not let this post also go unanswered. It's not that people 'don't care' for that particular rom; it's that the DS in general has received very little attention from anyone, and the homebrew scene will also quiet down almost to complete silence (but won't go away entirely--an NES game, of all things, was produced from scratch by a homebrew developer about a year ago; from-scratch homebrew Atari 2600 games are still being produced over 30 years after the system itself ceased production). Once platforms stop being officially supported by their big-name creators, the homebrew scene starts to gradually take over, and produce games that are often as high-quality as anything the official developers produced. This is already happening to the PSP and the DS. Homebrew has been a firmly-established underground phenomenon for almost as long as both systems have been around.

Now that both systems have almost been completely cut off from their parent companies, the homebrew scene will breathe a collective sigh of relief, as there will be no more updates to worry about, no more firmware-patching, no more flashcart-upgrading. The PSP has already seen the final official firmware (6.60) that will ever be released by Sony. The DS is pretty much already there, as well. After LEGO Friends is released, and there is a final flashcart firmware update across the board (for every flashcart variety ever released), the DS will finally enter its own 'update-free zone'. One of the best pieces of homebrew work ever wrought upon a pre-existing DS rom was by SKJMin, with his 'New Super Mario Bros.

The Lost Levels. There are other levels also included (such as replacing the Warp Cannon levels with actual mini-levels instead of just hopping into the Cannon--they even contain Star Coins!). On the from-scratch side of the homebrew 'field', expert game-maker and Mugen master Miguel has created a Smash Bros. Clone called Super Smash Crash!, which contains about 30 characters from various video-game, anime and manga franchises ranging from Mario and Pokemon to Inuyasha, Metal Slug and Bleach. The graphics are somewhat simple, but the gameplay will BLOW YOU AWAY! It even has a makeshift NES emulator with a few NES games included! Last edited by xirtamehtsitahw; 14th-January-2014 at 23:06.

Why withhold a game from being uploaded, just because you guys 'don't care' about it? I DO care, and I've been wanting to play this game on a DS ever since it was released, roughly two months ago (or was it even longer?).

I cannot find this rom on romhustler, romulation, rom-freaks, roms43, coolrom, and about four or five other sites (besides this one). I've even tried to find download links for this rom on Youtube, to no avail. This proves one major theory I have regarding the status of the web as a whole: search engines have had their algorithms changed so they function more as 'hide engines'--they do find what you are looking for.just so they can hide it from you amid mountains of meaningless irrelevant 'results'. Google is guilty of this. Supple Full Game Torrent. So are Bing, Yahoo!, MSN.com, and even Opera's default search engine. All the former search-engine Dr. Jekylls have become 'Mr.

So are Bing, Yahoo!, MSN.com, and even Opera's default search engine. All the former search-engine Dr. Jekylls have become 'Mr. You seem to care a great deal about the game so why not buy it, dump it and share it yourself? Easy for you to say when I can't even get a job in the 'employment black hole' of Florida that is Fort Walton Beach.

I have to undertake a complicated and very time-consuming (as in TONS of waiting.and waiting) job-seeking service through Vocational Rehabilitation. Also, I apologize for my prior rant. It's just that the internet's many search engines all seem to have become 'hide engines', in that they give you your search results, but you have to REALLY look hard for them.it's a needle-in-a-haystack type of thing. In other words, you guys are backing up what I have already 'found'--nothing but garbage sites purporting to have the rom, but hiding the fact that they don't actually have the rom behind a bunch of bogus surveys. As for dumping DS roms.how does one go about doing that?

I know that there has to be a sort of dongle you insert into a USB port, but the other end has an opening specially designed for a DS cart. Where would I go about finding such a thing.once I have the money to buy it? Easy for you to say when I can't even get a job in the 'employment black hole' of Florida that is Fort Walton Beach. Where would I go about finding such a thing.once I have the money to buy it?If you're poor you just have to be patient Other people don't have jobs too.it's not as if people are holding back on sharing this game. The dump just doesn't exist.

You could always try contacting the scene groups I mentioned that dumped the 3DS versions, although such groups aren't easily contactable usually.and tend to ignore poor pirates anyway. Oh well, there are still a bunch of LEGO games, ranging from the mediocre (LEGO Bionicle, anyone?) to the sublime (LEGO Pirates and LEGO Lord of the Rings).

In addition, there are THOUSANDS of other roms to download, so why dwell on a single one (which may have been released JUST to have one more platform to release on, to make LEGO Marvel Superheroes even 'better' than it really is, though I've heard it's pretty cool--flying around as Galactus and blowing stuff up as The Lizard, for example). It's only a matter of time, however, before the DS version is finally uploaded, though how long is anybody's guess--the DS is all but extinct on the video-game scene now, with the Mighty 3DS having gobbled up all its revenue (and people's playing time). There's one thing the DS has that the 3DS doesn't have, however, and that is the obscenely HUGE number of games you can cram onto even just a 4 gigabyte micro-SD card. Plus, the current DS-game library is about 99.9 percent complete, as-is. If LEGO Marvel or LEGO Friends (the last two DS games that will ever be made--and I bet LEGO Marvel isn't going to be made much longer, so it's going to be one of those short-production-cycle games, like WWE 13 for the Wii--which enjoyed only about a month-and-a-half production cycle, so maybe 100,000 copies of Wii WWE 13 were ever made).

The DS is possibly the most economical pirated-game platform on the market, considering how you can store about 32 DS roms (on average) on a 4-gigabyte flashcart. The biggest micro-SD card that can be bought on the cheap is 32 gigabytes.you can have a veritable VIDEO ARCADE at your fingertips with that kind of storage space!
